Independent Reading
Students are expected to read 30 minutes daily outside of class in a book of their choice. While the time requirement can be met by other reading (magazines, assigned homework readings) the students should be working towards finishing grade level books or above. The students will be accountable by two methods:

1) bimonthly reading responses on Groupfusion

2) quarterly book reports which must be on a fiction or nonfiction grade level text.
